Building behind her maj's palace
« on: October 30, 2015, 15:30:59 PM »
A sign has gone up advertising a new build of apartments on the recently tidied up field/land directly behind Jaqui Harvey's villa.  I'm going to get my old tin hat out, I'm not sure that this builder realises what he is doing and more importantly who he is doing it to.

Sorry to disappoint you, but old news for us.  However, sad for the Farmer"s who farmed this bit of land.  It was cleared and  their daughter was married on the field in September, but they were told that has their land had only been rented  (for years and years) it was being sold for under them.  However, as they own the little piece of land with their small house and the chickens etc., they will be staying for now.
It really does not affect us, as the building will be the front of the house, we spend all our time the other side and all the rooms have windows on that side too.   We were just hoping they would build a road along there that we could use.
So, the gloating is lost on us, but as said  a shame for the Farmer's who have farmed this llittle piece of land long before we arrived and now they have no land.
However, glad to see how interested people on this site are in me and my family.  Must be little to do in Calis nowadays.
