You're definitely the worlds worst. But I love you anyway.
It feels the same as every other day in paradise, just quieter.
Just enjoy x

Karenina, im the worrier too, I think it's a mom thing and having two children with us makes me cautious, but we all had a relaxing time, actually I felt less stressed going out last week than I did when we went out last August, I quite enjoyed the quieter pace which I know isn't helpful for business owners, but it's done me the world of good cause I'm quiet chilled and relaxed now. ( that might have so to do with knowing I'm going back again in six weeks lol!)
You enjoy !

Enjoying the last full day today (fly home tomorrow) but can't wait to be back in July for 16 days & a pool to cool off in, been hot enough this week to of fancied a dip, but at least it's not to hot to walk about (just) & try out a few bars & different eateries & to see who has gone/moved.
Love it here as I'm sure we all do.

Our association with the Fethiye area has lasted for over 25 years between holidaying and living there. We returned to the UK because the pull of the grandchildren was a great drain on the boss. I suppose if it was just me on my own I would still be there. I always refer to Fethiye as my spiritual home.We returned last year for the first since our departure and really enjoyed it. We only frequented about 5 restaurants and found the food up to the high standards we expected.

I was going to return on my own later this year as my wife is going to spend time with the said grandchildren. I am not so sure now. It is not because of terrorism it is the things that I am starting to readion here about what seems to be the lowering of the standards in some restaurants. I remember back to the time of the bird flu scare and people stopped visiting the portions got smaller, the quality lower and prices higher. Although I lived in Ovacik I got annoyed when I kept being asked why the the British are not coming. In some instances they were very aggressive and insulting.  I understand how they feel as they have to make a living but taking it out on those who have visited is not the answer.

Anyway, I am going to wait until later on in the season  and see what the opinions are and then decide.

Tourist arrivals in Turkey down 10.32% in February.
Turkey's Tourism Minister says he is hopeful that this will bounce back by the end of April.
