Ossie and others from the Surf cafe are running the Aroma beach, decent sunbeds,good food and clean toilets.
Also as we are not keen on dogs on the beach their dog just lays in the bar area.
Toky -sorry we just missed you, we would have rescued you with some VO5

We were in the Sunset apartments across the road and packing to come home after five weeks, so wasnot in the best of spirits.Also thought I saw Highlander passing the Letoon hotel about 1.30 yesterday. If it was, his wife has made a great recovery after all her troubles last year. OOPS maybe not his wife.lol.

Arrived in Olu Saturday. The resort is very quiet compared to same time last year. Hotel is much quieter. Bars and restaurants must be struggling. Everybody saying the same.

Ŵere you staying at Letoon. If so how was the old place.

No we were staying at the sunset apartments next door.Had a few meals at the Grapefruit restaurant food good but we were the only ones there,which is a pity because it is a lovely place. The head waiter is a lovely guy and he really wants to see the place pick up. There were guests arriving but not many. The Asian tourists who went last year seem to have gone elsewhere.

We are coming in Aug and meeting up with many friends we have made over previous years.  The overall quality of meals and value for money makes it hard to resist.
