One of my very favourite films that I could watch over and over is "Someone to watch over me". A Ridley Scott film with a great cast. Tom Berenger, Lorraine Bracco and Mimi Rodger's (Tom Cruises ex).
Great movie. Gangsters and Tom Berenger as a Policeman who has to guard a witness to a murder.  I have the DVD which I often put on and watch.
I also like Field of Dreams another film I could watch over and over.  Love the elderly Burt Lancaster in this film. Kevin Costner stars.

Without  doubt a classic, and arguably the best ever movie of its genre         cant believe no ones mentioned it . I have watched it countless times  .... Sergio Leonne`s                       ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA
also   THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY .. arguably the greatest ever western   , but I  bet you have already watched that one :-)

"Lost for words" - Thora Hird and Pete Postlethwaite.  Humour tinged with a little sadness, great film.

& by the same author Wide Eyed & Legless
Managed to find Wide Eyed and Legless via YouTube (also known as The Wedding Gift)  Despite a very poor picture and being shown in 9 parts, it was an excellent film!  Thanks for the recommendation    :)

Gorky Park.  A wonderful film with Lee Marvin and William Hurt and a surprisingly great performance from Rikkie Fulton.   Love this picture and another one I could watch many times.
