I am Sylvia and I have just joined your merry ranks for the first time today.

My old man (Les) and I came to live in Calis two years ago and have recently moved to Uzumlu. We consider moving to Turkey was one of the best decisions we have ever made.

I have just spent the past two hours scrolling through the site and many of the comments have made me laugh. Les would say that this is no mean feat cos I am miserable most of the time and that I am only happy when I have something to moan about ! ! This is simply not true...

I admit to being quite 'far along' in years, but  young at heart. When I look in the mirror, I see a well preserved Michelle Pfieffer (think my old Vision Express specs need changing)

Anyway, hello everyone and I look forward to being an active member of the Forum family in the future.

Some friends of ours have just bought a plot in Uzumlu and hope to move into their new home next May. We are popping up from Calis to see tham in June when we are out at our place.

Welcome to the forum.  We visited Uzumlu for the first time this year and it looked lovely.  We have a place in Ovacik and are hoping to move there next year, so it's good to hear from those of you that have already done it.
