Well I am impressed, I thought they were more expensive.  I remember buying them several years ago and the cost a lot more.  I didn't like them so never noticed they had come down in price.

I have got to stock up, as the new "bulbs are ugly and dont fit our fittings.well done dave spotting this I was under impression that ban was some way of have they brought this cut off date forward to help philips

It's only 100 watt bulbs and above at the moment, smaller wattages are being phased out over the next three years.  ;)

Maybe you are mixing up the bulbs? Are the Morrison's ones the old type?
