I don't like the Oludeniz Lokanta (feel the same as Gorgeous Bird) but recently went to Seckin on recommendation - very nice. SImple, friendly and clean.

We were regular visitors to OD lokanta as it is only a a few minutes walk away but having had a prawn salad which had hot prawns which you could snap in half (Microwave!) and the owner would not accept was anything wrong we have not been for a couple of years now. He must have lost hundreds of TL from us as in addition to dinner with our friends we often popped in for a couple of beers and a pizza at lunchtime. Without a doubt Mozaik Bahce is now numero uno.  Maybe not a couple of quid but worth every Kurus. :)

We usually go to the GARR 3
The food is very good & the staff are exceptionally nice
Chicken soup is the best i've ever tasted
The only thing that spoils the place is the toilet is always stinking.
A lot of people i know check out toilets first before eating
They must be loosing a lot of custom it's a shame as every thing else is spotless.

Megri for us if we're feeling posh, Seckin for a cheap, wholesome meal, crazy waiters and a spicy lentil soup to die for !!

Seckin is just up the road from us and we love to sit there at night and justb watch the goings on all around, it's miles better than the sea front.

Where is the Megri ?

Well I'm disappointed to read such negative posts about the Olu Deniz, we never thought of it as dirty in any way - although it may be 2 years + since we've been there. We used to be regulars before. It was always fairly busy with Brits and Turks. Off the list I think  :)

Rimms, the Megri is between the Duck Pond and the back road, on the corner.

The Sahil next to Migros for me. We always eat exactly the same every time we visit, and because the waiters know this, they have our order ready before we have even got out of the car. Think I may change my order 1 day just to confuse them  ;) Lovely and clean there (well until my youngest turns up to eat beans and rice anyway...but they don't seem to mind the mess he makes!)
