Well done. Thanks for a brilliant evening. Another 3C's masterpiece. An incredibly well run evening. The auctioneer was a gem. Look forward to next years. (will bring out some more chocolate).

Health check for two. Both healthy, that's a relief ,
Peel and foam bath at Nevada Su,very relaxing! Birol and Funda  were great give them a try,
Many thanks to all who managed and contributed both time and items to this very successful and worth while cause.

Its good to get feedback on the items auctioned.  Good or bad because we may be able to put things right so please feel free to comment on any items that you have bought. We dont just want to sell them to you we want you to be happy with them. I am glad you are pleased with your purchases George.

Agree with Mercury, would be a great idea for people to say what they bought and how they enjoyed it.  It would be interesting to read.  ;)
Cannot report back on the Teeth Whitening until September thought.  My son was already going to have this done before he got married, so it being in the Auction was a real bonus.  The appointment is booked for two days before the wedding so he will have a brilliant smile as will my daughter-in-law (pending) because the auction was for two.  Will post some pictures later on.   Thanks again for all the hard work the "crew" put in to achieve such a great result in raising so much money. ;D

Its lovely to hear that folk are chuffed with their promises makes all the begging, foot soldiering worth while.  Anne and I are looking forward to going back to all our benefactors to give them their certificate of thanks, well maybe when its a bit cooler lol.

We used the first of the 'Promises' we won last night which was a meal for two people at the Moussaka, the only question we were left with following our meal was " Why the hell is this place not packed out every night?"

The meal was lovely, Chris had the garlic mushrooms to start, it came in a sizzling platter and had onions mixed in, I went for the special roll which was like a jumbo cheese roll but stuffed with chicken and vegetables, it was delicious.

We both had steak for our main, Chris had the red wine sauce and I went for the pepper sauce, both cooked medium rare were absolutely lovely.

We couldn't fit a sweet but just to be sociable, I had a brandy and coffee.

It was a great meal and staff and service were first class, sitting there last night took me back to the seven hours we had spent outside  Moussaka doing the auction last month, that was hard work but last night was pure pleasure until I started to think about how the hell are we going to top 15,000 lira next year !

Well done and thank you Moussaka for a lovely evening. Report on meal and night in the penthouse suite at Boston's to come.

Rimms, you make me sad not to be back there but Shirley and I had a great night with Peter and Chrissie on Monday last. We did ourselves proud at Wetherspoons in Lytham. We didn't eat there but we went through a few bob on the wetter side of getting together. Shirley has already started getting her bits together in readiness for next years auction. Hope to see you soon. Barrie.
