Scunner if you want to think any guy that flirts innocently and jokingly a little on your forum with another female member is a potential stalker that is your privilege. Its your forum and your rules.
I cannot understand why you even had to mention the word stalker to be honest but you did for whatever reason you felt fit.
You obviously think you have the right to make up the minds of Jacgui or whatever other female I
answer a post to as to what my intentions are. Which is why I sadly cannot continue being a member of the forum. I am a married man and have a wonderful wife and daughter who I love  dearly and the the thought that either of them were to think of me as being a stalker kills me.
I have loved being a member of the forum and hopefully have made a few people smile but after
this I would not ever feel comfortable again as before this stalker thing had been brought up.
Call me stupid an idiot a fool whatever but its ended it for me. Bye everyone.

Dave, Please don' be offended, Scunner, did put a smiley face on the posting.  I know it was just a bit of fun and I am sure everyone else did as well.
i hope you re-think leaving the Forum, as it's a great source of information for those who visit Calis.

Horrific use of paragraphs - bye Dave. The internet really isn't for you.

Very very saddened to see the conclusion of a bit of innocent banter.  I am thinking (hoping) that there must be much more to this than is evident from the posts shown. :-\

I think the use of the work "stalker" was unnecessary and inappropriate.  I think Dave seems a great bloke, but was obviously hurt by the use of the word.  Not all of us have as thick skins as others on this forum.  It was banter that was suddenly transformed into something nasty.  I am looking forward to meeting Dave and his wife (who incidentally do a lot of charity work for the kids in Calis) when I come over in May, and assure him that he can do some harmless flirting  whenever he likes!!  ;)

Totally agree Echogirl,  Dave seemed like a nice bloke and the sort we like to have on CBF.  Lots of banter on here recently, including some innocent jokey flirting between KKOB yourself and me, no one called KKOB a stalker, maybe because he has been a member for a long time and is "one of the gang"
I am sure the word stalker did hurt Dave's feelings and I think the guys on here have been very dismissive and sharp with him. He is a new member and should have been cut a little slack.

What's the world coming to when a bit of innocent banter is seen as something sinister.
