Wifi
« on: June 29, 2015, 21:57:37 PM »
we are staying in a villa for 3 weeks and would like internet connection. when we were in Egypt we hired a wifi hotspot which was a small phone size device. this allowed us internet within so many metres of the device. does anybody know if such a thing can be hired in Calis at all? If so from where?
Thanks Jan x

I don't know the answer to your question Janette - all I do know is that the speed of the internet in parts of Calis is desperate :(

We have a Turkcell Vinn WiFi it's the size of a small mobile  phone, portable anywhere 229L from Turksell (£58) which has 10gb of usage & lasts 6 months then you top it up, it has instant internet connection anywhere we go, well worth the money if only for 3 weeks

Janette there is a bar owner in Hisaronu (Cubana Bar) that hires them out, its a bit of a trek from Calis but if you have transport its not the end of the world.

Yes it's yours to keep, we have one the 10 gb package lasts for 3 months then you top up. You can top up with 4gb which lasts for a month costs about 40tl.  It's the same as a payg mobile phone except it's for data.
