Thanks stuart T.

For the record we have known Sukru for many years and he is a very good friend who happens to do excellent boat trips.

We have also known our good friend Anne for many years and would not hesitate to take her recommendation on anything regarding Calis.

We have a great deal to be grateful for to both Anne and Sukru.

In the end you pays your money and you takes your chance.

I'm glad you took my comment as a fun dig Mr H.  Seems I upset Stuart  :)

We have also had great days out with Sugar, just for the record

They are much better than the huge boats imho
Unless, like me, you are a person of low and populist tastes and enjoy a day out with a load of Turks letting their hair down. I won a game once - shared with a Turk of course so national pride was satisfied - and got a bottle of Efes as a prize. A game where men the men are taken to one side and told to act out driving an old, very noisy car using the horn a lot. We then had to perform this sitting on a chair in front of the women and children who had been told that we were pretending to use a toilet. See, I told you I had low tastes!

If you are looking for kayaking, I highly recommend Dean Livesley at Seven Capes. A lovely guy, good equipment and a range of trips from morning paddles to three-day coastal treks!

I don't know if this would work for your family, but in August his night-time paddle during the Perseid meteor showers is fantastic. Very easy to do and he even has a couple of double kayaks, so an adult could go with a child. There are a couple of swim stops, a picnic tea and you get to watch the meteors and experience the bio-luminescent particles in the water - amazing. Did it last year and probably will this summer too.

This is his website - http://sevencapes.com/   :)

We're long standing Jerry Boat fans but have to say our day out last October with Sukru was excellent.

It was the Bailleys chocolate cups that did it  :)
