Saw both hydrofoils come in late tonight!  About 1.5 hrs later than should have been.  Was windy though. Strange weather here today, clouds rolled over, wind got up, cleared clouds and also left the mountains looking a lot clearer. Was hoping for a bit of rain, but did not happen, certainly not in Fethiye.

No, not me Colwyn, I don't have a brother to give me information about his trip on the Ferry, so I can pass it on here.

Are you suggesting that when my brother tells me of his experience that is "hearsay" but when you tell me it is certain? So I should trust you more than I trust my brother? Seriously? And Liz101's experiences are hearsay as well I suppose? And lissa? And davybill is a doom and gloom merchant who has never been to Rhodes? Dear, dear.

Quite clearly bad weather can affect journeys in June and September. You have got this wrong Jacqui. We all do sometimes. Move on. But as KKOB implies, you're bound to want the last word. Sigh.

I suggest, Colywn that you give Rhodes a try yourself and see how the journey is, but perhaps you don't agree with the politics there either.   The other people commenting on here have done the journey.
Now, I hope you do not want the last word as usual, because I always note you like to have it.

That's true and a number of them have said that the journey can be rough in June and/or September.

Why should I and other people not consider their experiences when deciding to make the trip.

Well after all the recent comments I am now seriously thinking twice about a trip to Rhodes at the end of September.
