Golden Rule of hospitality : Customer is allways right !!!
I ve been reading all comments and replies last few days and didint really want to answer as i do not want to create a polemic here, as this is a public forum and read by many people, but now i think both side of the story should be heard, then at least people who reads these positive and negative comments can decide for them selves .
Mr lance we do not have prawn cocktail on the menu nor we know what a marie rose sauce is

( I wonder how often Mr Lance goes to a ala carte restaurant and makes his own menu up

)Our menu is mediterranean and we like to stick to what we know, hence we have a very large british clientele but we never do sunday roasts every sunday simply because it will never be the same as the real thing, i hear wine house uzumlu does it very well and i will take my family there one day, but thats beside the point ...
Mr lance sais he has run restaurants and hotels etc ... This means he should know how to do food costing in restaurants, and because he lives in Turkey he should also know how much a good piece of fillet steak costs ( for those of you that dont live here i like to inform you about meat prices in Turkey, 1 Kg of fillet steak is 50 TL and this is wholesale price, this is when you buy the whole fillet, then we need to clean the fillet and cut it in to portions and most of the time we loose another 20 % because of the size of the steaks is not 220 to 240 grams ) Finally when we end up with a decent enough steak a cost per steak is anywhere between 14 to 18 TL. I like to point out that we havent even cooked it yet !!! This is a business that needs to run and make money to survive with high rent and high costs because of its location. There are other restaurants that sell fillet steak for 32 or even 28 TL , but there is also different kinds and quality of meat so this discussion could go on for ever.
We are still sorry Mr Lance that we couldnt look after you well enough !!!
As for the miserable git who needs a plastic surgery, i have no idea who the poor sod is as i ve only just flown back from UK ...
Went to shaka wednesday sushi night ,very disappointed once again, i asked for prawn cocktail didn't have any only prawns in garlic sauce ,can i have just have prawns i only like cold prawns ,can i have Marie rose sauce ,er what is that ,i said just tomato ketchup and mayonnaise ,ok fine nice plate of prawns came up with a nice hot Marie rose sauce,i said to waiter what part of cold did you not understand Derr, had a fillet steak 39tl not much bigger than a beef burger steak OK ,they had my favorite sweet, carrot cake that came out hard on the edges where it was in the microwave heating up,i'm sorry but i have never had hot carrot cake ,the bill for 4 of us 255tl not anymore for me and as for the English guy who works in there i think plastic surgery is the only way to put a smile on his face miserable git ,looked more like a bouncer hope he wasn't the owner .
