Overcharged for Turkish Visa ***PLEASE READ***

To add to the confusion, the other half has just said it's still a tenner at the airport,  : whatever happened to walking in a travel agents and them booking everything, there's so many add ons and confusion now, or is it me being impatient and technically thick, actually don't answer that.    thanks for the help.

I am travelling to Calis in August for a 2 week holiday. I haven't been to Turkey for a couple of years and was reading this topic about the visa's. Does everyone need to get on of these even if we are just on holiday and is this different to the £10 they charge when entering the country

Yes, everyone (inc babies) has to have one & it is instead of the tenner at the airport, which I now believe to be £20, so well worth the effort

The e visa replaces the old one you bought at the airport.  You have to go online and apply for one and it now lasts six months.  Handy if you go twice a year.   At the moment you can still get a visa in Turkey at the airport .  Hope this helps
