There were big problems with Cockroaches in parts of Calis this summer gone. We saw three or four which is far more than we have ever seen.

That's 3 or 4 more than I have ever seen there!   ;)

Yes Stoop, me and you seem to know about the cockroaches.  :)    I remember seeing so many of them running around the gardens of local houses and when we walked up our path and put the lights on they all scattered.  We had a few in our house about 4 years ago, we would go down in the morning and find them.  The last few years we have not seen any, thank goodness, because I hate them.

Forget Spain, Portugal and Greece - Fethiye area may suffer from a closer rival in 2016 - Antalya. Vast numbers of hotel rooms might be vacant due to it's popularity with our Russian friends, meaning possible price slashing.

We were playing Sequence on our veranda and a big bugger landed on the board. I swatted it away and it flew over Maggie's head.

About 15 minutes later she realised it was down her back!

Screams a plenty and that was just me  ;)

Yes, us  too, we saw cockroaches flying around... Horrible we hate them, but we spoke to a local Turkish guy who told we had to get used to them.
