We came home from a two week visit yesterday.
Calis was much quieter than normal for this time of the year, many restaurants having little or no customers on some of the nights we ventured down. The beach was quiet during the day too, although we did notice that the Aroma Beach Club and a few places beyond there were a little busier but, still nothing near to what we normally expect.
On our last night we had arranged to meet friends around midnight in Frank Cannons for a quick one when they arrived. We were the only two in and they eventually cleared all the table cloths etc from the tables. We left after one drink as it was plain they wanted to go home. The whole of the street was literally closed with lights off and staff gone. It really was a sorry sight

On a couple of visits to Fethyie of an evening most places too were very quiet. Only the lokantas seemed to be doing any real business.
It didn't stop us having a great time though but I fear many poor souls will have no businesses or jobs before the season ends if it continues.
